NGS Garden Opening Tilford Cottage.

We are opening the gardens here at Tilford cottage this coming weekend. We open on 15th June for evening refreshments (wine by donation) 6pm to 9 pm.We also open on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th from 10.30 to 4.30 which is the last entry. Teas will be available. There are many things to see here and children are welcome with adult supervision of course. Art and sculptures can be found in the garden and Rod’s art gallery will be open. My holistic therapy centre will also be open. Other things to see include a fairy grotto, koi carp pond, greenhouses, vegetable gardens, japanese garden, herbaceous borders, bog garden and bridge, teepee, herb garden, stumpery, fountains, topiary, river walk, wild garden, formal lawns,knot garden, courtyards and pots and tubs. A quiz is provided for the children who can learn about Pudding the cat who lives in the greenhouse. The NGS supports many wonderful charities and this year has given thousands of pounds to the Alzheimer’s Society. Apart from teas we will be selling cards, jewellery, therapy taster sessions and artworks. Profits will go to the charity also. Please support us and enjoy a family day out. Entrance is £5.50. Children under 11 are free.
